Des partenaires continuent de se mobiliser pour la construction de la Plateforme industrielle d’Adétikopé (PIA). Pour son expansion, l’infrastructure a bénéficié mardi d’un financement de 145 millions d’euros, soit plus de 95 milliards de FCFA.
L’appui octroyé par trois institutions financières (Afreximbank, Ecobank Togo et BIA Togo) permettra de construire différentes infrastructures sur cette plateforme. Dans les détails, elles contribuent respectivement à hauteur de 85 millions d’euros, 45 millions d’euros et 15 millions d’euros.
La mise en place de la PIA attirera des investisseurs pour développer des activités industrielles et multisectorielles dont la transformation de produits agricoles (coton, soja, anacarde, etc.) et miniers locaux. A termes, plus de 35 000 emplois directs et indirects seront créés.
Pour rappel, cette zone industrielle est le fruit d’un partenariat entre l’Etat togolais et Arise Integrated Industrial Platforms (IIP), spécialisée dans les zones industrielles intégrées.
